Prototype of a MIDI sequencer app for the iPad using the Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer interface hardware. The app is sequencing an Alesis Andromeda analog synth. We have no firm release date for this app, no feature list, no estimated price, this is currently an experimental project. KORG MONOTRON! Mini Analog Synth - Unboxing and Demonstration / Review
NEW Analog Synth in a box the size of a cassette tape! (Remember what those were? ;-) Available NOW at NoiseBug.net. Here is my unboxing, and a demonstration with a variety of other music gadgets - one of the best features is the ability to run external sounds through the (very resonant) analog filter, which is based on Korg's classic MS-20! The sound is quite warm - it could be the perfect addition to various digital gear, and the price is unbeatable.

Macbeth M5N : One
monstrosity.
I've had this for a while now and due to its rarity, thought it was fair to share it with the universe & beyond...
Just a very simple sequence, showing off the sonic power of this machine. The audio randomly switches between the "clean" VCA, the Panning/Reverb VCA & the Camera Mic. No external FX used.
Thank you Ken Macbeth!

MOOGFEST 2010 PROMO :: ABOMINATRON TAPE
This Moog Music Inc. promo for Moogfest 2010 features audio of Bob Moog provided by the Bob Moog Foundation www.moogfoundation.org. The audio is from a tape that was donated to the Foundation by pioneering synthesist Herb Deutsch, who collaborated with Bob on the first prototype modular-- the Abominatron. In the 84 minute tape, Bob methodically explains the functions of the modular. Bob took piano for many years as a young person, and could readily play, although he was very modest about his ability. He made a nearly innocent statement in this clip that others with more musicianship could get "some good things" out of the instrument-- it is a sincerely prophetic statement. The Abominatron II, a 6' 7" tower of Moog Music's hand-crafted synthesizers and effects pedals will be featured on-stage during Moogfest 2010, a 3 day music festival featuring Massive Attack, Devo, Thievery Corporation, Big Boi, MGMT and many others. Tickets are on sale now at www.moogfest.com!

Drunken Robosong
Ever heard a modular try to sing when it's had too much to drink?
Just kidding. A Modcan 69B Scanner pans between 4 LFOs from a 60B. The output of the scanner modulates a 22B Miniwave using the Votrax voice tables from bank 8 of the standard ROM.

Grove Audio PM Resonator Pink Noise Test
Just a demo video for the modular synth gearheads out there. Sorry for no annotations but you can probably tell that I'm just trying to show the range of effect the module has using as many settings as possible. I start slow and then speed up at the end because I realize my camera is going to shut off before I'm done! ;-)
