bleepwerks Original: Arp 2600 vs. Virus TI Snow

bleepwerks | July 29, 2010
In this experiment, I patched up a very basic Sample and Hold patch on my Arp 2600, modulating Osc 1 and 2 pitch, and also Filter Cutoff, then ran the 2600 outputs into my Virus TI Snow (which is turning out to be my favorite effects processor). On the TI Snow, I set up the Soft Knobs to control some of the parameters of the effects I called up via the Mod Matrix, namely the Ring Modulator, the Tape Delay which was set to Doppler, the Rate Reducer, Chorus and Reverb. I then tapped the tempo in with the Tap Tempo button to sync the time based parameters to the S&H of the Arp and started tweeking away.

COTK C964 Ratchet Module Test

JohnLRice | July 23, 2010
This is just a quick demo of my new Club Of The Knobs C964 'Ratchet Sequencer' module. Nothing musical to hear and the sound quality is just from the mono mic in my Nikon D300s camera. Most people probably wont like this, but I bet modular synth sequencer fans will watch it more than once! ;-)
